Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in Trauma. This position is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in high-pressure environments and are eager to make a difference in patient care. Candidates must possess ED/Trauma experience and be prepared to work nights and weekends.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 2 trauma bays in the Emergency Department
• Type of Equipment: Level 1 rapid infuser, HOT LINE, EKG, GE care scape (ultrasound), Hamilton vent, CAT tourniquet, Alaris IV pump
• Documentation System: Meditech

Required Certifications:

• TNCC (Current)
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• ENPC (Preferred)

Advanced Skills Needed:

• Running a mass transfusion through level 1 rapid infuser
• OR assistance when needed
• Strong IV background
• Ability to work well in high-stress environments
• Rapid critical thinking skills

Procedures Performed on Unit:

• IV placement
• Spinal stabilization
• Splinting
• Assisting with chest tube procedure
• Traction
• Central/arterial line placement
• Emergency bedside procedures

Dress Code: Required uniform is RED/BLACK SCRUBS - RED TOP, BLACK BOTTOM.

This is a Trauma Nurse Lead position working in the emergency room environment during the initial primary and secondary survey period. Staff members praise the facility's culture and the managerial support they receive.
