Join our dedicated team as an Emergency Department (ER) RN in Tuscaloosa, AL, where you will provide critical care in a fast-paced environment. Our Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups and is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The ED team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff, working collaboratively to treat over 60,000 patients per year.

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be part of a 54-bed state-designated Level III Trauma Center and a Level II Stroke Center. Our Nurse to Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. We are looking for candidates who are willing to float to other units and hospitals, with the option to work 36 or 48 hours per week.

• Education: Associate degree in nursing
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience; however, candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license may be considered, provided they have 2 years of recent experience in the field of specialty.

• Required Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NIH or Red Cross certifications, TNCC, SECURE on site
• Licenses: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted)
