LOCALS welcome!! Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Mattoon, IL. This role involves working in a 14-bed unit caring for adult patients aged 16 years and up. The patient population includes those with conditions such as sepsis, shock, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), acute kidney injury (AKI), vascular issues, strokes, as well as patients on ventilators and tracheostomy care.

As an ICU RN, you will be trained in advanced procedures including Impellas, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) using the Prismax system. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, with a preference for CCRN certification. There may be opportunities to float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Med/Surg as needed.
