Join our team as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Angola, IN! We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room (OR) Technologist to backfill a contract position. This role involves working 32 hours per week, with a schedule of four 8-hour days from Monday to Friday, 0645 to 1515, and includes rotating days off.

As part of your responsibilities, you will be expected to participate in on-call duties, approximately 8 days per month. Weekend on-call rotation is required once a month, starting Friday at 1515 through Monday at 0645. Weekday on-call will begin at the end of your shift (1515) and conclude at 0645 the following morning. During holidays, you will be on call for 24 hours from 7 AM to 7 AM.

Certifications Required:

• National certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)
• AHA BLS certification
• Tdap vaccination (expires every 10 years; declination not allowed)
• Vision assessment to be completed with the physical exam
• N95 mask - Respirator fit test required for all units/specialties
• TB: IGRA blood test within 30 days of hire date (QFT or T-SPOT)

Your surgical cases will include a variety of procedures such as orthopedic surgeries (total joints, sports injuries, and trauma), general surgeries (colectomies, gallbladder with IOC, hernias, mastectomies), urology, upper and lower endoscopies, GYN, C-sections, and cataracts.
