Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Knoxville, TN! We are seeking dedicated RNs with Med Surg experience to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity for those looking to make a difference in the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float to various units as assigned by the nursing supervisor, including but not limited to Medical Comfort Care, Surgery and GI, Trauma, Medical, Observation, Oncology, Medical Nephrology, Ortho, Joint Replacement, Neuro, Vascular, Pulmonary, and Cardiac Surgery.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital.
• Active, unencumbered Tennessee (or multi-state) RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience is a must.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• No on-call requirement.
• Must be available for every other weekend.
• RTO (Time Off) restrictions apply.
