Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Slidell, LA. We are seeking dedicated RNs with a passion for providing exceptional patient care in the Operating Room (OR) setting. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while enhancing your skills and experience.

Please ensure the traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. You should not apply for a role if you are not comfortable with the above.

Holiday Availability: Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Although Halloween is not a paid holiday, some units may require traveler coverage. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation.

Requirements:

• Must have CV experience
• 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Certifications: BLS
• Unit will accept 1st time travelers as long as they have enough OR experience

Additional Information:

• Cases Per Day: 10-25
• Rooms: 7
• Call: Weekday, weekend, & holidays
• Weekends: 2 weekends per 6 week schedule
• Scrubs: Green - provided
