Join a leading acute-care hospital as a SICU Registered Nurse in Bridgeport, CT. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on high-quality patient care. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

As a SICU RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to float as needed and work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in the SICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current CT state license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system.

This position is for a Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on 10/09/2026. Free parking is available at the facility.
