Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Everett, WA. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide high-quality care for our medically complex and critically ill patients. Our facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a focus on delivering exceptional healthcare services.

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for caring for patients experiencing respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, multisystem organ failure, and other critical conditions. You will work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment, collaborating with a skilled team to perform essential procedures such as bedside central and arterial line placements, chest tube placements, rapid sequence intubation, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assist with various procedures and interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to tele units if required by census.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Willingness to work weekends and float as necessary.
• Locals are not accepted for this position.

Our unit is staffed with a CNA per shift to assist with patient care, and we maintain a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1, which may increase to 4:1 during high census situations. We offer a supportive environment where first-timers are welcome, provided they meet the experience requirements.
