Join our team as a Travel RN specializing in Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Santa Fe, NM. This contract position offers the opportunity to work nights, providing critical care to patients recovering from cardiac procedures and those on high-risk medications. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Obtain and record initial assessments, establishing priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
• Develop and implement measurable individualized plans of care within established time frames.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on facts and evaluations of patient outcomes; modify care plans as necessary.
• Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served.
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care.
• Effective communication skills tailored to the developmental age of patients.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• Current BLS certification from AHA required.
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required.

This position is full-time, working from 7 PM to 7 AM. We welcome nurses with varying levels of experience, with those having two or less years being considered for CN I status. Candidates with relevant experience or additional nursing education may qualify for higher clinical ladder levels.
