Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) at a leading acute-care hospital in Montgomery, AL. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact on patient care.

**General Information:**

• Specialty: General/Trauma, with a focus on Ortho/Neuro/ENT
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Will accept first-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience.

**Required Skills:**

• Strong experience in Trauma (no burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, General, Ortho spine, Gyn, and Urology.
• Experience with robotics (Robotic Mazor/DaVinci XI) is preferred.
• Must have total joint experience for Ortho cases.

**Required Certifications:**

• ACLS
• BLS

**Support on the Unit:**

• ORA
• Desk assistant
• Charge nurse
• Team leaders for service lines

**Technology/Equipment:**

• EMR: Cerner
• IV pumps: Plum 360
• Medication dispensing: Omnicell
• Monitors: Spacelabs

**Orientation:**

• 2 weeks on day shift, expected to take buddy call while on orientation.

**Scheduling:**

• Weekend rotation: on call
• On call schedule: 1 weekday, one weekend a month (Friday 3p-7a, Saturday 24 hours, Sunday 24 hours) with a 30-minute response time.
• Expected to work a holiday per contract.
• Time off approval through manager.

**Additional Notes:**

• Scrub Color: Green, provided.
