Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry in Pittsfield, MA. This contract position offers a great opportunity for skilled RNs looking to make a difference in patient care on the night shift.

As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Must possess a Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) for consideration.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
• Must be able to provide specific interview dates/times of availability.

Please note that requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and travelers may not take all holidays off. You must work two blocks if scheduled/needed during the holiday periods.

Unit Size: 20 to 34 beds, Patient Ratio: 1:6, typically. Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color.
