Join our team as a MedSurg/Telemetry RN in Boston, MA, where you will be part of a dynamic float pool. We are seeking experienced professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are adaptable to various units. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in patient care while working with a leading acute-care hospital.

Required Experience: 4+ years of recent acute care experience is essential, with some experience in stepdown required for the night shift. Candidates must be proficient in Meditech IVs and telemetry, and able to adapt quickly to different units. A successful completion of one recent travel contract is mandatory. Applicants should be capable of independently reading telemetry strips and must pass an on-site exam on Day 1 with an 84% or better (2 attempts). Experience in psychiatric care is highly preferred, along with a strong preference for EPIC experience.

Preferred Experience: 5+ years of previous float experience.

Required Certifications/Licenses: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Additional Comments/Details: No extended RTO will be permitted; most Fridays will be required/needed, and no specific schedule requests can be accommodated. The department details include:

• M7: MedSurg unit with ortho, urology, neurology, GYN (30 beds)
• 6W: Cardiology/Telemetry (32 beds)
• 7E: Surgery (30 beds)
• CMS6: Cardio-thoracic (16 beds)

The average patient ratio is 5:1.
