Join our team as an Occupational Therapist in Morganton, NC, specializing in Rehabilitation. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential home health therapy services to patients with chronic diseases, wound care, and other complex needs. We welcome seasoned travelers and those with a passion for helping others.

Department Information:

• Approximately 6 visits a day
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Home Health Therapy Services
• Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

• Chronic diseases
• Wound care
• IV therapy
• Pleurx management
• Wound vac care

Required License and Certifications:

• Driver's License and proof of Insurance required
• Occupational Therapist: BLS and State Licensure required

Skills Required:

• Charting experience with Homecare Homebase is required (no exceptions)
• IV therapy, pleurx, wound vac, and wound care expertise
• Assessment and disease teaching skills
• OASIS knowledge

Support within the Department:

• Departmental leadership available

Technology/Equipment:

• Samsung Note 9 phones
• HCHB (Homecare Homebase)

Orientation:

• 5 days of orientation provided

Scheduling:

• No weekend rotation required
• No on-call required unless specifically requested
• Request time off requires manager approval

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue for Nursing; Grey for Therapy
