Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse specializing in Electrophysiology in Tupelo, MS. We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals who are ready to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment. This is a contract position with a focus on providing high-quality nursing services.

As an RN in the Electrophysiology Lab, you will be responsible for:

• Floating to units within your competencies as required.
• Participating in scheduled shifts from Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with rotating late shifts.
• Maintaining flexibility with scheduling, as the facility requires complete availability.
• Conducting assessments, monitoring patients, and circulating during procedures.
• Taking and passing a pre-assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm strip) test, with a passing score of 80%.
• Providing care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac rhythm issues.

Requirements for this position include:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Electrophysiology Lab.
• Current RN license on file at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with circulating, monitoring, and assessment (moderate sedation).
• Preferred scrub experience.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Change Healthcare.

Please note:

• All compliance documents are due 7 days before the start date.
• Orientation is scheduled for 10/21, and all RNs are required to attend.
• There are no weekend or holiday requirements, and on-call duties may include late stays until all procedures are completed.
• Covid vaccine and flu shot are not required; however, if declined, a mask must be worn at all times except during meals.
