Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Eureka, CA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, caring for high-risk obstetric patients in a culturally diverse population. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care in the Labor & Delivery setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for postpartum patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Circulate during cesarean sections as needed.
- Float to meet facility needs, with travelers being the first to float within their scope.
- Meet staffing requirements, including weekend shifts as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Current California state RN license (pending licenses are not accepted).
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during the contract period.
This position is ideal for first-time travelers looking to expand their experience in a supportive environment. The facility has 11-15 rooms/beds, with an average daily census of 15-20 patients, and accommodates a variety of obstetric cases.
