Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated RN to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on critical care. You will be part of a float pool, providing care across multiple campuses and specialties.

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. You will float between 5 ICU specialties and step-down units, ensuring that patient needs are met across the two campuses. This role requires a commitment to teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Float between various ICU specialties and step-down units as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Must be willing to float to step-down units as necessary.
• Active nursing license required prior to start date; pending licenses accepted.
• Weekend availability required every other weekend.
