Join our team as a Postpartum Registered Nurse specializing in Mother-Baby and Couplet Care at a leading healthcare facility in Seattle, WA. This is a contract position with a focus on providing exceptional care to postpartum patients following delivery.

As a Postpartum RN, you will be responsible for managing high-risk obstetric patients in a dynamic and diverse environment. Our facility is known for its high volume and census, requiring nurses who can handle the demands of postpartum care, including managing couplets and potential surges in patient census.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to postpartum patients and their newborns.
• Manage high-risk obstetric cases, including postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management.
• Float as needed to Issaquah Campus - Postpartum, Edmonds Campus - Postpartum, and Labor and Delivery for recovery.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high acuity postpartum care.
• Active compact nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP.
• Experience with magnesium, Pitocin, and Foley procedures.
• Ability to manage a 4th couplet as standard practice.
• Weekend availability: 6 weekend days per contract.
