We are seeking a dedicated Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel contract position in Seattle, WA. This role focuses on Mother-Baby and Couplet Care, providing essential support to new mothers and their infants in a high-volume, high-risk obstetric environment. As a leading acute-care hospital, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality patient care and the professional development of our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-risk obstetric care to postpartum patients following delivery.
• Manage a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.
• Handle potential census surges, including managing a 4th couplet as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Foley catheters.
• Monitor and manage postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal cases.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high acuity postpartum care.
• Active compact license accepted.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.
• Certifications: BLS and NRP.
• Availability for 6 weekend days during the contract period.
