Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Riverside, CA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients during one of the most critical times in their lives.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 11 Labor beds, 4 OB Evaluation, 2 OB PACU, 2 ORs
• Number of Staff: 79
• Patient Ratios: 1 RN/2 patients, 1 RN/1 patient
• Type of Equipment: GE fetal monitoring
• EMR: CPN, Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Preferred: Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, Transition Nurse/Baby Catching

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Non-Stress Tests (NST)
• Cervical exams
• Managing labor and titrating medications
• McRoberts maneuver

Best Personality Fit: Candidates who thrive in organized chaos and enjoy working with a high volume of patients will excel in this role.

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM

Floating Areas: Postpartum-Couplets

Dress Code: Hospital infant security scrubs

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Weekends and on-call may be required as needed, although scheduled on-call is typically not asked for.
