Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work nights and make a significant impact in the lives of critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the ICU specialty.
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications are required.
• Preferred certifications: CCRN & NIHSS.
• Experience with Cerner is a plus.

Holiday Expectations:

• MUST work 2 major holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
• AND 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
