Join a leading acute-care hospital in Indianapolis, IN as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN). This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs looking to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on trauma and surgical care.

Position / Specialty: Operating Room (OR) RN

Core Requirements: 6 years of experience required, with at least 3 years in a Level I trauma center. Call and holiday shifts are required, with no block scheduling. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Certifications Required: BLS certification is mandatory. Candidates must have an in-state license and required certifications in hand to be considered.

On-Call Requirements: 6 call shifts in a 6-week period, which may vary. Local candidates are accepted, but those residing within the state of Indiana will incur a $15 deduction from the bill rate.

Floating Policy: Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.

Special Requirements: Experience in Trauma Level I is required. Candidates with over 2 years of experience will be considered if they have at least 1 year in a Level I trauma setting. Circulating experience is required; scrubbing experience is preferred.

Unit Information: The OR consists of Core 3 & 4, handling general, plastic, GYN, ENT, trauma, neuro, ortho, GU, and colorectal robotics cases. The average daily census is 70-80 patients, with 21 operating rooms available.

Facility Highlights: This is a short-term acute care facility offering free parking and utilizing Cerner for charting. Scrub colors are provided.
