We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN for the Operating Room at a leading acute-care hospital in Boston, MA. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment with a focus on patient care and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Assist in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general, gynecological, urological, oral, otolaryngological, bariatric, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastic, podiatric, robotic, pediatric, trauma, and spine surgeries.
• Participate in a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts, including every third weekend and every other holiday.
• Be available for on-call duties as scheduled.
• May float to other Operating Rooms as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience; Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Scrub experience required.
• Competency in at least 5 of the surgical services listed above.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Required Certification: BLS.

Additional Information:

• Local candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be compensated at a local rate, which is $10 less than the posted bill rate.
• Previous permanent staff are not eligible to be submitted as travelers.
