Join a leading acute-care hospital in Plano, TX, as a Travel Physical Therapist specializing in Rehabilitation. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.

The Rehabilitation Therapy Services consist of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, serving a comprehensive range of patients in an Acute Care hospital (Trauma Level 1) with 600 beds, as well as a 40-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit.

General Information:

• Number of Staff: 27 Full-Time Physical Therapists, 19 Full-Time Occupational Therapists, 9 Full-Time Speech Therapists
• Type of Staff: Day Shift only - Director, Manager, PT Supervisor, OT Supervisor, ST Supervisor, PT/OT/ST staff
• Type of Equipment: Walking equipment, bikes, bars, treadmills, and other therapy equipment
• EMR: Meditech
• On Call Requirement: None
• Floating Requirement: None
• Weekend Shifts: Must work 2 weekend shifts a month as part of rotation

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Most Recruited Skills: Acute Care Hospital skills & Inpatient Rehab
• Must Have: At least 1 year of experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings for PT and OT; ST candidates must have at least 2 years of full-time acute care hospital experience (Level 1 Trauma preferred) and be highly skilled in completing modified barium swallow studies.
• Preferred: Candidates with experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Outpatient settings, Pediatrics, or School settings will not be considered.

Typical Procedures Performed:

• 1 on 1 providing PT (or OT or ST) treatments to patients
• ST needs to complete MBSS studies in radiology
