Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Telemetry unit, where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact on patient care. This position is located in Alexandria, LA, and requires candidates to be at least 50+ miles from the facility. The ideal candidate will possess ACLS certification prior to submission.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 36
• Number of Staff: 32
• Patient Ratios: 6 to 1
• Type of Equipment: EKG Machine, DynaMaps, Bladder Scanner, Vein Finder, Telemetry
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: Med Surg Tele Experience, Meditech Experience
• Preferred: Time Management Skills, Critical Thinking Skills

Typical Procedures Performed on Unit:

• Heart Caths

Best Personality Fit: Positive attitude, friendly, helpful

Required Certifications: ACLS

Floating Area(s): All Med Surg Tele floors

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Ceil Blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month.
