Unit Information:

• Location: 3 Tower / 622
• Number of Beds: 30
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• Type of Equipment: Hoyer lifts, Sara steady, bladder scanners
• EMR: Meditech

Staffing:

• Day Shift: 1 charge RN, 4-5 RNs (if unit census supports), 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, 1-3 Sitters
• Night Shift: 1 charge RN, 4-5 RNs (if unit census full), 2 PCTs, 1-3 Sitters depending on patient population

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Post-surgical care for cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement
• Pain management and CIWA patients

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: BLS certification, RN with Med Surg or acute care experience
• Preferred: Med Surg/acute care experience, previous HCA experience
