Join our team as a Travel RN in the ICU at a leading acute-care hospital in Plano, TX! We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs looking to expand their skills and work in a dynamic setting.

Unit Highlights:

• Unit: ICU / CCU (653)
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Number of Beds: CCU 36 / Burn Trauma ICU 30
• Documentation System: Meditech

Shift Details:

• Shift/Workdays: 7P-7A, 12 Hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirements: Discuss during the interview
• Call Requirements: Discuss during the interview

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of hospital experience
• Must have 2+ years of specialty experience in ICU
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active RN license (temporary license will not be accepted)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Meditech
• TNCC, CCRN, TCRN certifications

Procedures Performed on Unit:

• Central line insertions
• Arterial line insertions
• Thoracotomies
• Bedside trachs
• Chest tube insertions

Patient Experience Requirements:

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue for RNs
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails
• Hair: Neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
