Join our team as a Travel Rehabilitation RN in Carlsbad, NM! This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential nursing care in a dynamic environment. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients.

**Call required - varies depending on census. Floating required - depending on facility need and RN scope: Swing, MedSurg, Stepdown.**

**1+ years experience required. BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred.**

**FINGERPRINTS FOR ALL NM TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED!**

Patient Ratio: 1:5. Number of beds in unit: 10. Blocked Scheduling may be accommodated; must include in BODY of submittal. 48-hr. Guarantees are NOT approved. Scrub Color: Any Color. EMR: MedHost.

As a Rehabilitation RN, you will perform general rehab nursing duties in collaboration with therapy. You will evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care. Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, you will perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills is essential. You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude expected. Typically, you will report to a manager or head of a unit/department. This position requires an associate's degree and certification as a registered nurse, and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the rehabilitation field.
