Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 4 beds, 1 procedure room
• Number of Staff: 2 RNs, 1 IR tech
• Day Shift Staffing: 2 RNs, 1 IR tech, 1 Radiologist

General Information:

This unit is equipped with Meditech EMR and focuses on a variety of interventional procedures. The typical procedures performed include paracentesis, thoracentesis, port placement, and perm cath placement.

Skill Set:

• Must Have: Moderate sedation experience (certification can be provided)
• Preferred: Interventional Radiology experience
