Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Odessa, TX! This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of experience required
• MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE; critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• 36 or 48 hours/week considered
• Float Positions available
• Will support ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
• May be responsible for pediatric patients when floated to ER depending on RN's experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and provide leadership within the nursing team.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through the model of Shared Governance.
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Licensure:

• Current AR or Compact State RN license in good standing.

Certification:

• BLS required.

Safety Sensitive Designation:

• This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
