Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Neurocritical Intensive Care Unit (ICU Neuro) in Boston, MA. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment where you will provide critical care to patients with neurological conditions. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Neurocritical Intensive Care Unit, managing patients with arterial lines, external ventricular drains (EVDs), lumbar drains, and post-operative neuro cases.
• Administer thrombolytics (TPA) and vasoactive infusions as needed.
• Float to the neuro ICU floor from the neuro intermediate care unit (IMCU) when required.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3 while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current MA RN license required at the time of submission.
• 3+ years of related work experience in a neurocritical care setting.
• Experience with EVDs, lumbar drains, and arterial lines is mandatory.
• Current certifications in CPR-AHA, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Ability to navigate basic web-based applications; familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus.
• Must be separated from any previous employment with Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least six months to be considered.
• Local travelers (within 50 miles) will not be accepted.

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays, barring holidays. All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission. Please note that parking may cost up to $43/day in some cases.
