Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit in Boston, MA. This is a contract position with guaranteed hours, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. We are seeking experienced RNs to assist with winter staffing needs, and we welcome both travelers and local candidates.

This position requires a Massachusetts RN license at the time of submission and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, preferably in a teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience and certifications in CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA. Familiarity with basic computer applications and Epic is essential.

As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for administering nebulizers, performing 12 lead EKGs, managing blood transfusions, and conducting telemetry monitoring. The unit supports 15 medical-surgical units specializing in various areas, including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, hips and joints, oncology, and transplant liver and kidneys. Patient ratios average 4:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.

Shifts will rotate between 8 and 12 hours, including every other weekend and holidays. While we cannot provide a set schedule, we honor requests for time off, which must be presented at the time of submission. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays, excluding holidays.

Please note that parking may cost up to $43 per day for day shifts, but public transportation options are available.
