Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit in Boston, MA. We are seeking dedicated RNs to support our Winter Staffing Needs starting January 4, 2027. This is a contract position with guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly, not including any on-call time worked.

As a Telemetry RN, you will work rotating shifts of 12 hours, including day and night shifts, and every other weekend. The schedule may consist of one 12-hour shift and three 8-hour shifts over a four-week period. While we strive to minimize rotation within the same week, some adjustments may occur with adequate notice.

Our facility supports 15 medical surgical units, specializing in neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, genitourinary, hips and joints, oncology, and transplant liver and kidneys. The average patient ratios are 4:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.

Responsibilities include administering nebulizers, telemetry monitoring, performing 12 lead EKGs, and blood transfusions. This position does not require on-call duty. A Massachusetts RN license is required at the time of submission. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, with prior travel experience preferred. Certifications in CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA are necessary, along with basic computer skills and familiarity with web-based applications. Epic experience is required.

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays, barring holidays. All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission, with a maximum of 3 days allowed. Please note that parking may cost up to $43 per day for day shifts, but public transportation is available. Current travelers have the opportunity to submit for Winter Needs IVS with an auto offer, and local candidates are accepted at $10 less than the bill rate.
