Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse in Marrero, LA, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of patients requiring critical care. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for healthcare and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Manage patients with neuro/stroke, vascular surgeries, multi-level back surgeries, and general critical care conditions.
• Utilize special equipment including vents, EVD management, ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, bolts/ICP O2 monitoring, and CRRT.
• Perform special procedures such as fresh post-op craniotomies, vent settings, A-lines, central lines, NIH evaluations, and HD (managed by dialysis staff).

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as an ICU Registered Nurse.
• Epic experience is required.
• Limited neuro experience at the least.
• Weekend requirement: Yes, every other weekend.
• Float requirement: Yes, will float between SCU, NCU, and CCU, and may float to ED for care of CC admits.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, & NIH (CPI can be obtained at the facility once started for $100).
• Scrubs: Navy required.
