the facility is a state-of-the-art, 62-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and return to the lives they love following an injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. the facility strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

Our Programs

• Neurological Rehabilitation: This doctor-supervised program is designed for patients who have experienced an injury to the brain, spinal cord, or nerves. People who have experienced a neurological injury or disease sometimes have difficulty with movement, speaking, swallowing, breathing, or learning.
• Spinal Cord Injuries: We offer comprehensive rehabilitation for patients who have experienced a spinal cord injury, either traumatic or non-traumatic, who would benefit from a specialized and coordinated process to increase their physical, emotional, and psychological abilities.
• Brain Injuries: Our therapists have specialized skills and training that help them recognize the unique needs of an individual who has experienced a brain injury and provide consistent and structured rehabilitation. We offer comprehensive care to address physical dysfunction, cognitive impairments, and behavioral issues associated with these patients.
• Stroke Rehabilitation: Our multidisciplinary team provides specialty care to help individuals regain function from the physical and psychological effects following a stroke. Our goal is to help patients achieve the most complete recovery possible through prevention, recognition, assessment, and treatment of conditions related to stroke and its complications.
• Amputation: A multidisciplinary team of professionals with specialty amputee training, experience, and credentials provide effective and evidence-based care for our patients who have experienced an amputation. We focus on restoring strength and confidence, regaining function and mobility, and returning individuals to an independent and satisfying life.
• Orthopedics: Our program prepares patients recovering from fractures, dislocations or joint replacements to transition back to home and into the community. Accordingly, a number of objectives are established based on the patients individual needs, including: gait training; stair climbing; transfer training; muscle strengthening and endurance; fall safety; dressing, bathing, toileting; and operating a vehicle.

• Role: RN
• Shift: 06:45-19:15, 12 Hours
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: M-F EVERY OTHER WEEKEND ROTATION
• Call Requirements: NO
• Required Certifications: RN LICENSE, BLS, BSN
• Years of Experience: 2+ (NO NEW GRAD)
• Float Requirements: NO
• Patient Population: ADULTS and GERIATRIC, REHAB PATIENTS

Must Have Skills/Experience: IRF, MED-SURG

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Step Down, Wound Care, Respiratory Treatment, BiPAP, CPAP

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Neuro, Ortho, Cancer

Personality Fit: Team Player, Adaptable, Flexible

Required Education: BSN or higher
