Join our team as an RN in a Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in Lewiston, ME. As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will partner with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. This role is essential in delivering high-quality care to those in need.

In this position, you will work on specialized units, including:

• 3 East: A 31-bed unit focused on residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, where you'll tailor care to meet their unique needs through both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques.
• Transitional Rehabilitation Unit: A 42-bed unit providing short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from various conditions, including fractures, joint replacements, and strokes.
• 3 West: A 42-bed long-term care unit that offers a home-like environment for residents requiring long-term placement.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Associates in Nursing
• Licensure: Valid State of Maine or compact RN license
• Experience: 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred
• Other Skills Required:
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team of other care providers
  • Flexibility to cover shifts 24/7 and float to other units as needed
