The main campus Emergency Department (ED) in Zanesville is a Level III Trauma Center with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays, ranking among the top 10 busiest EDs in Ohio. This contract position requires assignments of 36 hours per week, specifically from 7PM to 7:30AM. Every other weekend is required, along with a holiday rotation. Please note that requests for excessive time off around the holidays will not be approved. Taking call is not expected and should be a rare request.

To qualify for this role, the RN must have completed at least 3 ED assignments and/or possess 3 years of current/recent ED experience. Required certifications include BLS, PALS, and ACLS. While TNCC and ENPC are strongly preferred, they are not mandatory. It is essential that candidates have competency with Epic EMR, as the ED Manager has specified that they will not consider any candidate without this experience, regardless of their ED background. Please ensure that Epic experience is clearly listed in your submission to avoid decline.
