Join our team as a dedicated RN in the Float Pool, specializing in Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Nashua, NH. In this contract position, you will provide professional nursing care and support the mission and values of the organization. Your role will involve rendering care to patients, ensuring comprehensive clinical documentation, and promoting a positive culture within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Renders professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit and carries out orders placed by the provider responsible for the patient's medical care.
• Provides comprehensive clinical documentation including care plans each shift.
• Communicates patient information for continuity and safe care through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding (AIDET).
• Completes all net learning modules within the identified timeframe.
• Promotes a culture of well-being and a positive atmosphere within the department each shift.
• Provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff by following established procedures and protocols.
• Identifies and assists in the correction of patient care safety issues.
• Participates in daily unit-based safety huddles and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborates with nurses in other departments to draw upon expertise in other clinical areas.
• Serves as a preceptor for new nurses and participates in the employee engagement survey.
• Maintains current nursing licensure and certifications required for the department.

Job Requirements:

• Current New Hampshire RN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred.
• Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation.
