We are seeking a skilled Travel Radiation Therapist with expertise in Radiology to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while utilizing advanced technology in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients.
- Operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician.
- Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required.
- Maintains, stores, and orders supplies and equipment.
- Provides quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, development, and other identified needs.
- Responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of a prescribed course of Radiation Therapy.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree
- MRT License in the state of employment
- RRT License in the state of employment
- BLS via AHA
- RADTH ARRT
- Two to five years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience with TrueBeam machine and Aria/Varian specialized procedures (SPRT, SRS, IGRT, IMRT) is a must.
- IMRT experience, LDR/HDR experience preferred.
