A leading acute-care hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel contract position in the Emergency Department (ER). As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in patient care within the Emergency Department. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced equipment and technologies to deliver exceptional care to patients.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 854
• Number of Staff: 120
• Patient Ratios: 10 - 25
• Type of Equipment: GE R860 Adult vents, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices.
• EMR: Cerner

Typical Hiring Profile:

Must Have:

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, PALS

Preferred:

• NRP

Best Personality Fit:

We are looking for candidates who are adaptable, compassionate, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You should be prepared to float to all Critical Care units and floors as needed.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements:

Varying weekends (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule).
