Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in the Operating Room (OR). Position Information:

• Facility Department/Cost Center: 2779 (701) SURGERY
• Role: RN
• Specialty: OR - Surgery
• Shift: 06:30-15:00, 8 Hours
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
• Call Requirements: As Needed/10-11 days of call each month, may increase to 15-16 days if staffing is limited
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, HWC
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: As Needed/Pre-Op

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 3 OR, 3 PACU, 5 Preop
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
• EHR: CQI and Medhost
• Supervisor: James Maxey, Director of Surgical Services
• Patient Population: Serves all ages

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in NM
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Travel experience is a plus, but not required
• Personality Fit: Professional

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Hospital provided
• Any unacceptable attire: Casual wear, open-toed shoes

Please note that all travelers must have the required certifications at submission, as certifications are not available on-site. Additionally, candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel positions. All clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed. Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on results but must be supervised.
