Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in OB/GYN in Ottumwa, IA. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care in our Labor and Delivery unit. Our facility is known for its high-quality medical staff and a comprehensive range of services, ensuring a supportive environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.

As an OB/GYN Travel RN, you will be responsible for:

• Providing care to labor and post-partum patients.
• Monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal well-being using GE Centricity fetal monitoring equipment.
• Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records using Meditech EHR.

Onboarding Requirements:

• MUST have Iowa SING BG to clear (Criminal portion and Child Abuse portion required) - NO EXCEPTIONS.
• All BG checks (counties and states) must be fully cleared prior to start - NO INSTANT OR STATEWIDE SEARCHES ACCEPTED.
• Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult).
• Drug Test MUST be a 10-panel screening including opiates.
• Titers must be within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB).
• Monday or Tuesday start dates are allowed.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 6
• Patient Ratios: 1:3
• Supervisor: Casey Klodt
• Patient Population: Adult and infant

Required Certifications: NRP, BLS, STABLE, AWHONN fetal monitoring.

Experience: 1-2 years in Labor and Delivery preferred.

Scrubs will be provided, and we expect a professional appearance at all times.
