Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Physical Therapist specializing in Rehabilitation in Kinston, NC. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide patient care in a supportive environment. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient care assessment and treatment, including initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of motor and developmental skills.
• Develop realistic rehabilitation plans based on evaluations of patients' physical and mental abilities.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting prognosis, treatment, and progress.
• Facilitate patient mobility skills using safe patient handling equipment and techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service by educating patients and families on treatment procedures and promoting activities that enhance mobility skills.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate physical therapy with other therapeutic activities.
• Mentor students and other rehabilitation services personnel as assigned.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and maintain clinical competencies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required, with travel experience preferred.
• EPIC experience is a plus.
• Current NC Board of PT license is required.
• Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
