Join a leading acute-care hospital as a MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse in Clinton, MD. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled RNs to work in a dynamic environment. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are committed to providing high-quality patient care in Med Surg and Telemetry units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float between Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed.
- Provide nursing care according to established standards and protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
- BLS & NIHSS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
- Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
- No on-call required; float must be within skillset/acuity.
- Flu vaccine required for all employees.
