Join our team as a Travel RN specializing in Rehabilitation at a leading acute-care hospital in Conroe, TX. We are looking for dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care to patients in an inpatient rehab setting. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality rehabilitation services.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Type of Equipment: Hill-Rom beds
• EMR: Expanse

Typical Procedures:

• PT/OT/ST for a total of 3 hours a day
• Patients can receive dialysis, have blood administered, IVP medications, and remote telemetry monitoring.
• No bedside surgical procedures.

Skill Set:

• Must Have:
  • One year inpatient or rehab experience
  • BLS certification
  • Completion of cardiac arrhythmia review test
• Preferred:
  • ACLS certification
  • Medical/Telemetry experience or higher acuity

Best Personality Fit:

• Ability to collaborate well with therapy departments
• Encourage patient independence while ensuring a safe environment

Required Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS certification

Floating Area(s):

• Med/Surg or Med/Surg Tele

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color/Attire: Royal Blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

• Follow all inpatient guidelines such as Fall precautions, HAIs, Isolation, and Care Experience.
• Every other weekend required, no on-call shifts.
