Join a leading acute-care hospital in Chandler, AZ, as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Rehabilitation department. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality rehabilitation care. Our facility is committed to helping patients recover from severe injuries and illnesses with tailored rehabilitation programs.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the recovery of patients experiencing neurological injuries, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, amputations, and orthopedic conditions. Your expertise will help patients regain essential functions and improve their quality of life.

Types of Care Offered:

• Neurological Rehabilitation: Specialized programs for patients with brain, spinal cord, or nerve injuries.
• Spinal Cord Injuries: Comprehensive rehabilitation for both traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injuries.
• Brain Injuries: Structured rehabilitation addressing physical dysfunction, cognitive impairments, and behavioral issues.
• Stroke Rehabilitation: Multidisciplinary care to help individuals regain function post-stroke.
• Amputation Care: Evidence-based care focusing on restoring strength, function, and independence.
• Orthopedic Rehabilitation: Programs for patients recovering from fractures, dislocations, or joint replacements.
• Wound Care: Specialized team for managing complex wounds.
• Respiratory Therapy: Advanced care in airway management and respiratory support.
• Intravenous Antibiotics: IV therapy and PICC line insertion services.

• Required Certifications: BLS
• Patient Ratios: 8 patients per therapist, with 1-2 assistants and 1 rehab tech
• Equipment: Vector, Litegait, Saeto, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, Technobody
• EHR: UDS

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Time management, point of care documentation, knowledge of GG scoring
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Neuro, Ortho, Cardiac, Falls
