Join a leading acute-care hospital in Chesapeake, VA, located in the beautiful Coastal Virginia region, just minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk. This area is an outdoor lover's paradise, offering hiking trails for all experience levels and more than 20 waterways to explore.

Assignment Details:

6W Med/Surg Tele - Post-Surgical Unit. This high-volume post-surgical unit cares for patients including urology and GYN surgical populations. Schedule options include 3x12s or 4x12s. Overtime is paid after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules. Please clearly indicate the candidate's preferred schedule at the time of submission. Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required. Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.

Patient Ratios: The typical ratio is 1:7. Please ensure the candidate is fully pre-closed and comfortable with the patient ratios before submission.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience
Previous travel experience preferred
Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions
Must be proficient in Epic; no exceptions

Required Certifications:

BLS through the American Heart Association

Compliance Requirements:

The facility will not consider candidates with any license or background hits. Please thoroughly review the candidate's history before submission. Submission must include:

Completed Qualivis Cover Sheet
Current NURSYS report
All requested time off listed on the Qualivis Cover Sheet

RN candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted. A driver's license must be provided for address verification prior to offer acceptance.
