Join a leading healthcare provider as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg in Morgantown, WV. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a 34-bed med/surg unit with telemetry, providing critical care to patients with diverse medical needs.

As a Med Surg RN, you will work the night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), with a schedule that includes weekdays and weekends (3 per 4-week schedule/period). The contract is for 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Cerner EMR system.

Requirements:

• Active RN License in the state of West Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Med Surg setting.
• Certifications required: BCLS, NIH.
• Travel experience is not required.

Please note that the facility has a strict attendance policy and will only tolerate 2-3 call-offs per contract. It is essential to maintain reliability throughout your assignment.
