Join our team as a dedicated PICU Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Omaha, NE. We are seeking skilled professionals who are committed to providing exceptional care in a mixed-acuity unit. As a PICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• May be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts.
• Perform tasks as a Rover nurse/task nurse on any inpatient unit, including NICU, Labor and Delivery, and adult acute care.
• Assist with patient care activities such as turns, repositioning, bathing, transport, ambulation, meal assistance, and medication administration (within individual comfort zone and training).

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of pediatric care experience, with a preference for high-acuity care. First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 3+ years of experience in PICU. Epic charting experience is required, and candidates must be 100% nicotine-free. BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory, while ACLS is preferred.

Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, and local candidates are not accepted (must be more than 100 miles from the facility). Pending licenses are accepted, but if the license is not in hand at the time of submission, the traveler will be booked six weeks out. Scrubs are mandatory, with RNs required to wear Steele gray scrubs featuring the Nebraska Medicine logo. Information on obtaining scrubs will be provided upon confirmation.

Parking permits are available for professionals (cost varies, approx. $55/month), or daily rate parking is offered at $3 for 20 hours.
