Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Omaha, NE. This is an exciting opportunity for RNs seeking a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in various units, including but not limited to 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, and Trauma. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to the highest standards of clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in patient and family education.
- Float to various units as required to meet staffing needs.
Requirements:
- 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital.
- BLS certification (ACLS strongly preferred).
- Experience with drips required on all floors.
- EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
- Must be nicotine-free; 100% nicotine-free facility.
- Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Locals accepted: NO (must be more than 100 miles from facility).
- Pending license accepted, but must be in hand at the time of submission.

Parking permits are available for professionals, with costs varying by lot (approximately $55/month) or a daily rate of $3 for 20 hours.
