Join a leading acute-care hospital in Omaha, NE, as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse. We are seeking dedicated RNs to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a skilled healthcare team.

As an RN, you will have the flexibility to choose between a 36 or 48-hour option and a 13 or 26-week contract. Please note that travelers are expected to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility. RNs must be prepared to float to various units based on their experience. If you have a preferred unit, please indicate this at the time of submission.

Travelers may also be assigned to a sister campus, which is a short drive from the main facility. The following certifications are required: BLS (ACLS strongly preferred), and a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital is necessary. Experience with drips and EPIC charting is also required. First-time travelers will not be accepted unless they have 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center.

Travelers will float within scope to meet facility needs, which may include assignments at the Bellevue campus. Units may include, but are not limited to:

• 4CS
• 5 West
• 6 Neuro
• 4/5 Lied
• 6/7 Lied
• 7 HVU
• 8 Werner
• 9 Trauma
• Observation
• SOTU

The care teams include CNAs, care techs, transport teams, and paramedics, with LPNs assigned on some floors. This facility is 100% nicotine-free.

Weekend shifts require 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period, with Saturday and Sunday being the assigned days, and Friday and Saturday nights for night shifts. Up to two weeks of RTO (Request Time Off) is permitted, but must be submitted with the application. Additional requests will be considered at the manager's discretion.

Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, which include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Local candidates are not accepted; the traveler must reside more than 100 miles from the facility. Pending licenses are accepted, but if the license is not in hand at the time of submission, the traveler will be booked six weeks out.

Scrubs are mandatory; RNs will wear Steele gray scrubs with the facility logo. Information on obtaining the branded scrubs will be provided once confirmed. Parking permits are available for professionals at a cost of approximately $55/month, or daily parking is available at a rate of $3 for 20 hours.
